About me

I am an aerospace engineer who has spent a career working at the intersection entrepreneurship, clean tech, and the built environment. I have a passion for EVs and am committed to solving the world’s energy problems the right way.

Combining my engineering background with six years in traditional urban construction, six years creating and building tech startups and four years building EV infrastructure, I approach the problems facing EVs and energy infrastructure with a holistic view of how to solve them.

I previously ran Tesla’s charging infrastructure team for the Northeast US, with a particular focus on bringing fast charging to urban settings. While there I handled high level network planning, site selection, contract negotiation, site design, permitting/zoning/planning, and utility relationship management. Since then I have consulted for numerous other EV charging companies.

I serve as a contributing editor at Road & Track, where I write about EVs and EV infrastructure.

In addition I have served on the board of the NYSERDA sponsored Scale for ClimateTech clean tech incubator and as a panelist for webinars hosted by Urban Movement Labs.

When not building companies or EV infrastructure, I enjoy building personal projects like cars, motorcycles, electric art bicycles, hot tubs and furniture.
